Our 4 Favourite uses for Oilcloth that do not involve Sewing – No 1

Often we end up with offcuts and ends of rolls and little bits of fabric laying around. When this happens, our favourite use is to cover old Milo Tins. Its so easy and looks so good that we have actually had people coming into the shop asking if they could buy the tins

Here’s our step by step guide

Step 1: Drink Milo, or ask your kids to polish it off for you

Step 2: Take the wrapper of the tin and lay it on the back of oilcloth using it as a template to cut your oilcloth to size

Step 3: Attach the cut fabric with sticky tape where the 2 ends meet

As you can see, our kids drink lots of Milo 🙂
